Azalea CEO Baha Zeidan Joins the GA HIMSS Board of Directors

At Azalea Health, we recognize that we cannot just provide solutions and services to healthcare facilities to see progress, we must also be involved in leading organizations to help drive change in healthcare. With this in mind, we are excited to announce that Azalea CEO and co-founder, Baha Zeidan, has been named to the Georgia Chapter of the Healthcare Information Management and Systems Society (GA HIMSS) 2019-2020 board of directors.

GA HIMSS lists its vision as “Better health for Georgians through information and technology.”

Since founding Azalea in Valdosta, Ga more than a decade ago, Zeidan has worked toward this shared vision. Starting Azalea to address medical billing needs, the platform has expanded to include EHR, scheduling, RCM outsourced services, telehealth and more. Offered at an affordable cost and delivered via the web, the Azalea platform helps rural hospitals and practices drive financial stability.

“I am honored to work alongside so many esteemed healthcare advocates and visionaries in Georgia, and look forward to engaging with our members, sponsors, partners and legislators,” said Zeidan. “The healthcare industry has made great strides in the past two decades in its technology usage, but there is still so much opportunity to leverage modern technology to truly improve the patient experience, drive better medical decisions, and streamline back-office processes – particularly in rural communities where financial pressures are at an all time high .”

Azalea delivers monthly webinars to share industry best practices and tips for utilizing technology to improve patient care, maximize reimbursements and increase productivity. To check out our upcoming webinar calendar, and for other industry resources, check out the AtoZ KnowledgeCenter.
