Azalea® Health Receives Meaningful Use Stage 2 Certification

Azalea EHR ensures providers are ready to meet Meaningful Use requirements.

February 17, Valdosta, GA — Azalea Health, a leading provider of cloud-based healthcare solutions and services, announces that Azalea EHR has been tested and certified under the Drummond Group’s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. The Azalea EHR solution is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

“The Azalea Health team understands how critical it is to meet Meaningful Use deadlines to ensure our customers are on track to earn government incentives and to avoid penalties,” Said Baha Zeidan, CEO of Azalea Health. “Because the Azalea solution is cloud-based and compliant, our customers don’t have to worry about upgrading to a new version. Our providers can focus on delivering quality care, while we focus on ensuring their systems are ready to meet Meaningful Use requirements.”

Drummond Group’s ONC-ACB certification program (http://www.drummondgroup.com) certifies that EHRs meet the meaningful use criteria for either eligible provider or hospital technology. In turn, healthcare providers using the EHR systems of certified vendors are qualified to receive federal stimulus monies upon demonstrating meaningful use of the technology – a key component of the federal government’s push to improve clinical care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs by U.S. healthcare providers.

With a focus on patient engagement, Azalea Health provides an integrated, cloud-based solution including: Electronic Health Records (EHR), Practice Management Systems (PMS), Laboratory Ordering and Resulting, Patient Health Records Portal, Revenue Cycle Management Services (RCM), and Precertification Services, as well as telemedicine and patient engagement solutions.

The Azalea® EHR 2.0 module 2014 Edition is compliant and has been certified by ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments. Azalea EHR 2.0 was certified 02/13/2014.
