Greetings to all our Azalea Health Clients. We hope you have been enjoying your summer! We have been working hard to optimize our products so that they have a quicker response time as well as introduce new features that will make them more efficient and user friendly. We appreciate all of your feedback and requests as it is important to the growth and development of our software. | New Features for Azalea Practice Management™ |

| Overview |
|
1. Insurance Verification: - The ability to verify patients' insurance eligibility in real time has been added.
2. Quick Submit: - You may now submit up to four diagnosis codes / CPT codes at one time..
3. Total Encounter Receipt: - For those encounters with multiple line items and patient payments posted to each, you may now print one receipt listing each individual payment posted in the encounter and their total.
4. Custom Charges: - You may now create your own custom charges and add them to the fee schedule.
5. Display: - For those practices that schedule patients to more than one physician, you now have the ability to view either just one physician's schedule, or all the physicians schedules on the Scheduler at the same time.
6. Arrived Feature: - An asterisk will now appear next to all patients' names on the Scheduler who status has been changed to "Arrived".
7. Patient Count: - Located next to the physician's name on the Scheduler is the number of patients that have been scheduled to the physician on that specific day.
8. CPT Analysis Report: - This report shows Charges, Payments, and Adjustments for any CPT code(s) billed for during a specified date range.
9. Clinical Docs: - Scan up to 20 pages of patient information at a time and save it as a single PDF document.

| Insurance Verification |
|
The ability to verify a patient's insurance and view his/her benefit information in real time is now available in Practice Management™. Insurances are verified from with in the Patient Details screen.
Note : The insurance verification information is pulled from the GatewayEDI Clearinghouse website. Please contact us if you are interested in adding the Insurance Verification feature to your Practice Management™ software.

| Quick Submit |
|
Type up to four Diagnosis Codes / CPT codes in the provided text boxes to quickly submit the entered codes all at once.
Note : The Diagnosis and CPT/Charge Codes search boxes are still available for entering Diagnosis and CPT codes that you may not know the numeric code and need to search for by name.

| Total Encounter Receipt |
|
For those encounters that have patient payments posted to more than one line item, you now have the ability to print only one receipt listing the individual payments and the total amount paid.
Note : If necessary, you still have the ability to print separate receipts for each individual line item as well.

| Custom Charges |
|
Clients can now input their own Custom Charges. To add a custom charge, you will need to click on "Custom Charges " under "Settings" located in the top menu bar. The Add Custom charge box will appear. Assign the charge with a code and name, then submit.
Note : Once the Custom Charge is created, you will then need to add it to the Physician's Fee Schedule. The price entered in the fee schedule will be the amount listed for the custom charge in the encounter.
Example Charges : Returned Check Fee, No Show Charge, Medical Records Fee, etc.

| Display |
|
For those practices that schedule patients to more than one physician, we have added the display feature so you now have the choice of viewing only one physician's schedule or all the physician's schedules at one time.

| Arrived Feature |
|
You will now see an asterisk symbol ( * ) next to all patients names who's appointment status is set to "Arrived" in the Scheduler.
Note : This feature is used as a way to quickly and easily determine which patients have and have not yet arrived for their appointments.

| Patient Count |
|
Easily keep count of how many patients have been scheduled to a single physician on a specific date. The number will increase or decrease as patients are either added or removed from the physician's schedule.
Note : This feature is utilized for those physicians that advise their staff to only schedule a certain number of patients on a single day.

| CPT Analysis Report |
|
This report shows Charges, Payments, and Adjustments for any CPT code(s) billed for during a specified date range.

|

| New Features for both Azalea Practice Management™ & Azalea LabHub™ |

| Overview |
|
1. Popup Comments: - Type comments in the text box labeled Popup Comments located in the patient definition screen. These comments will pop-up every time a patient's profile is accessed.
2. Patient Photos: - Take a patient's photo using a web camera and save it to his/her patient profile.

Notes that are written in the Popup Comments box will appear whenever a patient record is accessed, i.e. the patient definition and patient details screens, the encounter definition and encounter details screens, as well as when scheduling/accessing a patient from with in the Scheduler.
Note : Pop-up Comments are created in the Patient Definition (aka "Add/Edit Patient") screen.

| Patient Photos |
|
You now have the ability to take photos of your patients and save it in their patient profiles by clicking on the [Take Photo] icon located in the patient definition screen.
Note : A Web Camera will need to be installed to your computer in order to utilize this feature.
