Professional Medical Biller
DESCRIPTION:
Medical billing company seeking experienced biller/coder. Possesses and demonstrates strong accounting, medical coding, billing, and compliance knowledge and skills in various specialties. Understands and applies coding, billing, and compliance regulations when appropriate, on own initiative. Responsible for all aspects of the medical billing cycle including data entry, coding, claims filing, denials management, patient billing and collections, and detailed financial reporting for each assigned billing account. Reviews and reports and trends information regarding physician compliance with coding and documentation guidelines and monitors reports for utilization of Free Text diagnoses, missing charges, and denials. Ideal candidate will have experience working with Medisoft billing software and billing experience for primary care and specialty physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years of billing/accounts receivable experience in healthcare and/or CPC certification (or currently pursuing) are required
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with billing software preferably Medisoft
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong internet research and computer skills
WAGE RANGE: Negotiable
