Baha Zeidan
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer

Baha Zeidan, co-founder and CEO, provides the strategic direction for Azalea Health. Mr. Zeidan's leadership ensures goals are both achieved and surpassed in the areas of customer service and experience, sales, profitability, and the overall company objectives. As the leading force behind new technology development, Mr. Zeidan acts as an ambassador; enabling the Azalea Team to forge ahead of industry standards and exceed expectations. He is also a strong proponent of Health IT, cloud computing, mobile development, device computing, and big data analytics. Additionally, Mr. Zeidan cultivates quality relationships with partners and shareholders that aid in the further advancement of Azalea Health. Though fostering external relationships is important, Mr. Zeidan also works to provide an upbeat work atmosphere where team members are empowered, enthusiastic, and driven to deliver top-notch results in their respective fields. He received his BS in Computer Science from Valdosta State University, and is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Information Technology Management with a focus in healthcare.

Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer

Douglas Swords, Co-founder and CFO, established the company’s back-office Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) service division, while simultaneously providing financial planning and leadership to Azalea Health. Mr Swords brings over ten years of experience in the healthcare industry, specializing in management and scaling of RCM operations for medical providers and facilities of all sizes. Mr. Swords utilized his strong healthcare financial management and RCM background to become key contributor during the production of Azalea’s proprietary practice management software Azalea PM. Additionally, Mr. Swords oversees the company’s financial growth utilizing strategic debt as a foundation to grow the company’s annual revenue at an average rate of 60%. Using this strategy, he led Azalea to achieve profitability after only its third year of operation. He graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Business Administration from Valdosta State University majoring in Finance.

Dan Henry
Co-founder and Chief Information Officer

Dan Henry is a co-founder and Chief Information Officer of Azalea Health. Dan graduated from Valdosta State University with a BS in Computer Science degree. Dan is responsible for the IT infrastructure of Azalea Health and has over 10 years experience building state-of-the-art web applications, specializing in web based portals for hospitals and medical laboratories. Dan is also the lead developer of the Azalea EHR Electronic Health Records systems, Azalea PM Practice Management systems, Azalea Pre-Cert Precertification services, Azalea LabHub Laboratory Ordering and Resulting system, & Azalea DrugWare. Dan is fluent in many different programming languages and prefers the open source philosophy to proprietary technologies.

Nick Vailas

Nick Vailas
Vice President of Business Development

Nick Vailas joined Azalea in 2013 as its inaugural Vice President of Business Development. In this capacity, Nick leads market development, sales, and partner relationships for Azalea.

Nick brings to Azalea a strong and diverse background in Healthcare IT, Customer Relations and Sales and Marketing designed to support and drive company strategic goals and objectives. Nick has more than twenty years of experience, including software engineering, implementation, deployment management, and finally sales. He attributes his success at each stage to listening to, and taking superb care of, customers.

Nick is a graduate of both Dakota State University and Control Data Institute of Technology. When he is not taking care of Azalea customers and service partners, Nick enjoys fishing and spending time with his family and close friends.

Ashley Alday
Client Relations Manager

Ashley Alday is Azalea Health's Client Relations Manager. She graduated from Valdosta State University in 2005 with a Bachelors of Business Administration and a degree in Management. Ashley joined Azalea Health in July 2009. Her primary focus is building and maintaining relationships between Azalea Health and its clients. Ashley works to effectively communicate its clients' needs and recommend the proper strategies to the Azalea Health team in order to meet those needs. Ashley also provides training and education to all Azalea clients, and serves as a critical go to person in order to ensure successful implementation of its products and services.

Thomas Amiot, Operations Manager Linked IN Logo

Operations Manager

Thom Amiot is Azalea Health's Operations Manager. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Valdosta State University with a B.B.A. in Finance. At VSU, he was awarded the Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award as the top graduate from the Langdale College of Business Administration in 2010.

Thom joined the Azalea Health team in August 2009 as a Medical Billing Specialist while pursuing his Finance degree at Valdosta State University, and transitioned into a new role as a Revenue Cycle Manager upon graduation. As Azalea's Operations Manager, Thom is responsible for accounting and financial reporting, directing human resource management and policy, and providing assistance and guidance with Azalea's Revenue Cycle Management service. Thom is a student member of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and is an alumni member of the Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society.
