With Azalea since August of 2009

I have watched my career at Azalea Health grow by leaps and bounds since I was hired here in Summer 2009, while a senior in college. I began as a Medical Billing Specialist and learned that position, and moved to a Revenue Cycle Manager once I graduated, just 9 months after I started working here. Since then, I've become Azalea's Operations Manager and my responsibilities continue to grow and expand. I enjoy the freedom from micromanagement and the trust to make important business decisions based on my own analysis and judgement. For me, the best parts about working at Azalea are the great opportunities to gain excellent experience while moving up in the company, and the relaxed working environment we all thrive in.

I have been working with Azalea Health since August 2010 as an Account Billing Manager and this is the best job I have ever had!

At Azalea, ideas and individuality are highly valued. This is a modern company, encouraging employees to work in an environment that best enables he or she to accomplish the task in the most efficient way. Being treated as an individual rather than a drone or a "worker bee", allows us as employees to resolve challenges more quickly than in companies that encourage a rank and file mentality. Employees are listened to here. In fact, we aren't just employees, we are also users of Azalea's products. Our feedback is not only heard, but is also applied.

I can strive for perfection at Azalea Health, because here, perfection can be attained. In previous positions, using outdated software and struggling with an antiquated company structure led to an inability to make changes when needed. Having used several other types of medical billing software in previous positions, I can honestly say that Azalea PM is the best and easiest software I have ever used. I've used billing software that required months of training for a new user, but I was working in Azalea PM independently by the end of the first day. Filing claims and receiving payments electronically as quickly as we do with Azalea PM has been the best part of the job! From a biller's standpoint, filing a claim and receiving payment within a short time frame makes every day fulfilling and exciting.

I can't say enough good things about the company and the people with whom I work. There is very little turnover and everyone is very pleasant and friendly. In conclusion, I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Azalea Health!

Azalea has provided a strong foundation for my career as a Medical biller and CPC-A. I have the privilege of expounding my experience to several different medical provider specialties and communicating with a variety of health care professionals in the medical field.

What I enjoy the most about my job is having a great support system of everyone whom I work with. Although I am located in the Savannah office, the communication between management and employees is the best I have ever experienced. Management keeps the morale of all employees uplifted, even after a hard day of work. They make sure we have all the needed educational updates to make sure we are performing our duties properly, thoroughly, and efficiently.

I take a lot of pride in the customer service we provide, since it is a rare occurrence these days. The satisfaction of our clients and their patients is of the utmost importance to me. I am proud to be among the most innovative and creative team.

Working at Azalea is awesome. Everyone is very friendly and they are always more than willing to answer my questions or help me when I need it. I am truly in awe of the vast knowledge my co-workers have of the billing and revenue cycle management process and it inspires me to learn more everyday. At Azalea, I have the opportunity to fully utilize the health information management skills that I obtained during my education at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College.
